Which flag comes with a fold-down base?

Our fold-down base option is designed and manufactured to fit all 20” and 30” flags.

Does the flag come in different colors?

All our flags come in standard powder coated white. However, we offer custom powder coated options. Contact us for details. The white powder coated flag can be painted and finished as you desire to suit your boat’s color scheme.

What’s the best place to mount the flag?

Typically, flags on boats are mounted near the aft or stern section of the vessel at its highest point. However, with today’s modern vessels and unique designs, the location of the flag is dependent on available space on your vessel. If you have concerns regarding the placement of the flag on your boat, please send us pictures and we will be happy to assist.

What’s the best size flag for my boat?

You can learn more about Finding the Right Flag for You on our website. This section shows the various size flags and boats.

Do you do custom designs?

Yes, in some unique situations the base of the flag may need to be customized to fit your vessel and/or location. In some cases, the angel of incline of the flag mast may require modification. Learn more about our custom options.

Why don’t the flag’s come with anchor lights?

Each and every boat is uniquely different in its layout. In some conditions, the anchor light can be attached to the top of the flag to be in compliance with US Coast Guard Regulations. In other cases, where the flag may be better suited in a different location on the boat, this may not work. Careful plaining of the location of the flag is paramount before installation.

How can I light up my flag?

Depending on your particular boat and placement of the flag you may decide to install LED light strips to fully illuminate your flag. All of our flags come standard with deflector shields which are designed to receive the LED strips. We recommend Plashlights.

Why doesn’t Fast-Flag sell the LED lights?

Because we do not specialize in lighting. Plashlights offers a lifetime warrantee and their products are a true IP-68 rated product (water proof) and they offer hundreds of options in lighting your entire boat.
